作為此次發布會最大的看點，Pixel3系列手機顯然吊足了大家的胃口，隨著此前官方也發布了Pixel3的預覽版本和大量諜照曝光，大家對全新Pixel3似乎已經有些許了解，但是很多人還是希望能在Pixel3真正發布的時候看到更多驚喜。

This is our first hands-on look at Google’s brand-new Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. Leaks about the phones have been popping up for weeks, but we can now officially confirm specs and pricing. The Pixel 3 will start at $799 and the 3 XL begins at $899, with shipments starting Oct. 17. Google’s big focus is on the cameras, with a new “Top Shot” feature selecting the best moment to take a photo, “Night Sight” removing the need for a flash in low light, improved zoom and yes, a “Group Selfie Camera.” The Pixel is also getting its own wireless charging stand, and in a first for Google, comes with headphones included (about time!) Pixel3和Pixel3XL兩款手機外觀風格類似，關鍵參數和配置也大同小異，包括Snapdragon845處理器，4GB RAM運存，IP68級別防塵防水。提供64GB和128GB兩種容量可選，但是不支持記憶卡擴展。同時兩款手機都內置朝前的立體聲喇叭，音量比上代提高40%。

手機攝像頭部分被外界給予了厚望，雖然Google還是信奉“只要一顆就好”的後置攝像頭，但是通過Google本身的算法調教，相機表現一直十分優秀。此外兩款Pixel手機都配備兩顆800萬像素前置攝像頭，一個滿足日常自拍，一個為廣角多人拍攝用。

之後Google推出兩個全新相機功能“Top Shot”和“Super res zoom”。 “Top Shot”是Google 2018十分有特色的相機功能之一，按下快門後，相機會在之前和之後一幀分別拍攝照片，然後利用自身相機算法來找到最佳相片，Google AI同時會在拍攝過程中考慮到拍攝主體位置、睜眼、微笑等諸多因素，力求拍攝到最優秀的照片。

其他硬件方面，Pixel Stand是專為Poxel3和Pixel3XL設計的無限充電設備。將手機放在插座上進行方便的無限充電同時，手機也可以變成類似Google Home Hub一樣的智能家居控制設備，通過語音等功能喚醒不同功能，也是新意十足。
